Video is the New Marketing Strategy Adopted by Medium and Small Players in the Markets

It starts with an idea – a million dollar idea. But when you do not have a million audience, that idea fades behind the screen.That is the situation of small and medium scale players in the market. And the struggle is real.

With the rising popularity of large scale industries, companies, or firms, it becomes hard for the small and medium players to step up the game. There could be many reasons which include the lack of sufficient funds, team size and involvement, outreach and online presence, etc.

As the world is digitizing, and the pace is increasing manifold, the spread of word through digital mediums is far more effective than any other traditional methods.

Traditional, physical mediums like pamphlets, newspaper advertisements, and other sources were used, but they had limitations. It was mostly due to the print charges, and it was limited to a small audience and usually ranged to a particular region.

With the advent and grace of technological advancements, the smartphone was born and it completely changed the way most of the things worked. As the technology is linked with all other sectors and spheres, this created a butterfly effect and paved a huge scope. Smartphone users are increasing daily, which makes it easier for people to access the internet. And that’s it – the Internet is the solution. It has made possible for people around the world to connect with the help of a small device that fits in hand. And it truly agrees with the statement, “The world is in your hands.” As the wave of technology is flowing at a tremendous rate, those who want to benefit from it needs to stay close to it, i.e stay updated about the latest trends and implement them.

The wave has also hit the marketing sector by replacing the traditionally marketing strategies. How?

Video is the new marketing strategy. It solves the limitations of traditional methods – cost effective and global outreach. Along with this, making a video has become so easy now. While being easy, it is the most efficient marketing strategy.

Considering the example of Apple. Their ads are short, crisp, and to the point. In a mere 10 seconds, they convey the message. And with no doubt, one can easily get intrigued by their ads.
